All data files from Cooltrader Pty Ltd are supplied in an open, readable format like text or .csv types. These formats allow the end user to look at the data, change layouts, configurations and other things before the information is imported to your database. The advantages of this strategy are irrelevant to most subscribers, whilst at the same time, are not a disadvantage to those that use them.

One downside of this format is the required manual import to the individual charting programs. Although this is usually a simple process, the setup can be complicated for the uninitiated. To assist we have several pages of instructions to show the steps and settings for the more popular programs.
